St. Catherine Hospital |
What To Bring |
Think of your safety first. You will
be entering a location that will be various stages of
disrepair. While we have did our best to clear potential
hazzards you will want to dress accordingly. Wear shoes
that are both comfortable and cover your whole foot.
Tennis shoes are fine, hard sole shoes or boots would be
better but no sandals, flip-flops or heels please.
While it may be very warm you may want to wear pants to
cover your legs as you will find yourself sitting in
some very dusty and dirty places and they protect you
much better than if in a pair of shorts.
We will provide particle mask
to those whom wish to wear them to help filter the dusty
air. As far as Asbestos, the only area known to have a
problem will be off limits during our events and does
not pose any hazards.
You will want to have plenty of water or favorite
beverage on hand as well as snacks you would enjoy
during the event. Bring a cooler if you have one as we
have plenty of room for "Your Stuff".
If you own "Ghost Hunting" equipment you are welcome to
use it during the entire event. If you don't own
equipment all our network team leaders have a vast
amount and a large variety of gadgets a gizmos and will
be happy to explain how they are used. Some may allow
you to use them during our event.
We will have a small first aid kit
on hand for minor scrapes and cuts or tweezers for
occasional splinter. If it requires more than a band aid
and ointment we won't be much help.

For Your Safety |
All Guest will be
split up in to small groups and will be assigned a "Lead
Investigator" from the Simply Ghost Network. Each of the teams
then will rotate floors throughout the event so everyone will
have a chance to explore/investigate each floor several times.
IF FOR ANY REASON YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE IN ANY
SITUATION INFORM YOUR GROUP LEADER AND THEY WILL ESCORT YOU OUT
OF THE BUILD OR TO ANOTHER LOCATION.
The event is meant to be memorable and fun for all our guest and
we would rather remove you safely rather than have you trying to
run out while your a tad freaked out.
NEVER LEAVE AN AREA WITHOUT THE LEAD INVESTIGATORS KNOWLEDGE. If
you need to go outside or to our designated staging area let
your Team Leader know and they may even choose to assist you to
were you need to go. This location is easy to get lost in and we
don't want that to happen.
Just an FYI, we have had guest in the past who felt the needed
to investigate by themselves and were constantly wondering off
to try to do there own thing. If a team is on the same floor and
the Team Leader and you are both comfortable, as long as your
Team leader is informed and agrees, you may then be able to
investigate on opposite ends of the same floor. This is entirely
up to the Team Leader.
That said... We always recommend using the buddy system and
strongly advise you pair up with a friend. If you did not come
with one... make a new one.
Be warned if you choose to just wonder off and not tell any one
and it becomes a problem you may be ask to leave the event and
no refund will be given.
Breaks will be taken every hour to each hour and 1/2. This will
be the best time to grab new batteries, use the bathrooms and
have a snack and a drink. There is no water or electricity in
the building but we will have two RV's parked in back, both have
bathrooms.
If you have any other question I would be happy to assist
you just drop me an email and I'll get back to you ASAP.
